We spent some wonderful hours with the CHLF Galilee Team of pastors and their families. They held a reception for us at our hotel in Nazareth, we worshiped with them, and we shared a delightful renewing of marriage vows ceremony in the Church at Cana. Two of the children of Elias and Rose also accompanied our group up to Bannias, giving us delightful insights into their lives.

A learned Jewish friend of mine told me recently that a phrase often used to describe the Torah, as God gave it to Moses, is that it was black fire on white fire. I’ve known all my life about the power of words, but I’m eager to learn more about the power of the white fire. Is this a Godly thing where He leaves out as much as He gives us so we can debate it in relationship with each other, and thereby learn more about Him as we learn more about each other?
